Noor Salman, wife of Orlando nightclub shooter, arrested; will be extradited to Tampa

Noor Salman, the wife of Orlando, Florida, nightclub mass shooter Omar Mateen, was arrested by the FBI Monday in San Francisco.

ABC News reports Salman is being charged with obstruction of justice and aiding and abetting her husband’s attempted provision and provision of material support to ISIL.

Salman is expected to appear in court Tuesday for a first appearance, her lawyer told the news station, and is expected to be extradited to Tampa, Florida, where she was indicted.

Reports indicate that Salman went with Mateen to scout Pulse Nightclub at least once and was with him when he purchased ammunition. It was also reported that the two exchanged text messages during the massacre.
