Neighbors Emergency Center is under construction on the 3400 block of Sherwood Way.
According to the company’s website, there are 17 Neighbors Emergency Centers operating throughout Texas and 10 locations under construction, including the San Angelo site. San Angelo will be the third center in the West Texas region, where currently centers are located in Midland and Odessa.
The Midland Neighbors Emergency Center is open 24 hours, seven days a week with little wait time, according to the website. The Midland location has ER equipment that include CT scanners, X-ray and ultrasound equipment and employs board-certified physicians trained in trauma and injury care, cardiology and obstetrics and gynecology.
An estimate for the opening of the San Angelo center is not available.
Several attempts were made via email and telephone calls to contact Tamera Villanueva, the media contact listed for Neighbors Emergency Center’s corporate office. Villanueva has not responded.
