Nevada Athletic Commission suspends Brock Lesner for 1 year, fines him $250K

The Nevada Athletic Commission has suspended former UFC champion Brock Lesnar for one year and fined him $250,000. The penalties come after Lesnar failed two drug tests before his July 9 UFC 200 fight against Mark Hunt on July 9.

The 39-year-old former WWE champ tested positive for the anti-estrogenic agent hydroxy-clomiphene in an out-of-competition U.S. Anti-Doping Agency drug test on June 28 and in an in-competition test on the day of the fight.

Lesnar will be eligible to return to competition in July 2017.
