In a couple of months, San Angelo residents will have another option in emergency care. The Neighbors Emergency Center on Sherwood Way is scheduled to open in August.
According to the company’s website, there are 17 Neighbors Emergency Centers operating throughout Texas and 10 locations under construction, including the San Angelo site. San Angelo will be the third center in the West Texas region, where currently centers are located in Midland and Odessa.
In the San Angelo location the emergency center will have X-ray, CT scans, IV fluids and antibiotics, splints, stitches, crutches and more. The company’s website claims they are an emergency center with short wait times and a culture of caring.
The Midland Neighbors Emergency Center is open 24 hours, seven days a week with little wait time, according to the website. The Midland location has ER equipment that include CT scanners, X-ray and ultrasound equipment and employs board-certified physicians trained in trauma and injury care, cardiology and obstetrics and gynecology.
