Multi-agency effort leads to drug arrests

Two San Angelo men and two Rowena women were arrested Thursday in connection with a multi-agency investigation targeting drug trafficking operations in the area, according to a release from DPS.

DPS, along with Tom Green County Sheriff’s deputies, instituted multiple investigations that led to the discovery and seizure of approximately one pound of methamphetamine, two firearms, U.S. currency and drug paraphernalia.

DPS Trooper Justin Baker, public information officer, confirmed that the street value of the drugs seized is $87, 117.


The arrests were as follows:

Ashley Nicole Haggard, 23, of Rowena

Charges: Possession of Controlled Substance, second-degree felony

Tamara Nicole Seideman, 35, of Rowena

Charges: Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance, first-degree felony

Danny Contreras Robledo, 41, of San Angelo

Charges: Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance, first-degree felony

Ryan Andrew Garza, 28, of San Angelo

Charges: Evading Arrest/Detention with Motor Vehicle, state jail felony

According to the release from DPS, the three-month investigation included DPS special agents along with Texas Highway Patrol, Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office, Tom Green County Special Investigators, the San Angelo Police Department Investigative Unit and the Miles Police Department.
