Showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast through Friday, but don’t expect any of those storms to be severe.
Wednesday’s forecast calls for a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and cloudy with a high near 68 and northeast winds at 5 to 10 mph.
Headed into Wednesday night, there’s a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and a low of 51. The National Weather Service in San Angelo said the main threat associated with these storms will be dangerous lightning.
Hourly rainfall totals will be below one-tenth of an inch with isolated amounts of up to one-quarter inch.
