Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call about the unauthorized absence of an inmate from the Roy K. Robb Community Corrections Facility at 3262 U.S. Highway 277 North.

According to an offense report, a staff member of the corrections facility told officers that Kaylon Baker had left the facility through a window without intent to return. Baker was wearing white shirt and pajama style pants. He was ordered by the District Court of Wilbarger County, Texas, to reside at the Roy K. Robb Community Corrections Facility until satisfactorily discharge. Kaylon was not satisfactorily discharged when he escaped.

The corrections facility is a state prison used to rehabilitate inmates with drug and alcohol substance abuse problems while serving their sentence.

The investigation has been forwarded to the district attorney’s office, pending issuance of a warrant for Baker.
