Local bar shooter’s pretrial date reset

A San Angelo man’s pre-trial for manslaughter charges has been rescheduled for Tuesday. Twenty-nine year old Jason Scott Little is accused in a 2015 shooting that left a San Angelo woman dead.

He’s charged with the shooting of 52-year-old Bertha Vasquez Gonzalez, at the Eva’s Place bar in early 2015.

Little briefly appeared in a Tom Green County court Thursday telling the judge he was not prepared for his pre-trial.

Little remains in the Tom Green County Jail where he was booked Feb. 2, 2015, according to jail records. He has also been indicted for unlawful possession of a firearm by felon. Other charges include driving while intoxicated and a parole violation.

His bond was set at $531,000.

Little’s final criminal pre-trial is set for Tuesday.
