A Llano High School teacher has been arrested after being accused of an alleged improper relationship between educator and student, a second degree felony. According to a press release from the Llano Police Department, on the morning of May 13, 2016, Llano High School administration notified the LPD with an allegation of improper relationship between educator and student.
The LPD, Llano County Sheriff’s Department and the Texas Rangers conducted an investigation into the allegations. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 28-year old Clarissa Sue McDaniel of Llano, identified as teacher at Llano High School.
McDaniel has been charged with two counts of improper relationship between educator and student.
According to the release, Llano Independent School District administration sent a letter to all high school students parents and/or guardians, advising them of the incident.
