At least three people are reportedly injured after a crash involving a bus and a stationary train in Midland. CBS 7 says the call for the crash came in at 1:19 p.m. Monday at tracks located near West Highway 80 and South Loop 250.
City of Midland Public Information Officer Sara Bustilloz told reporters at the scene that it appears the driver of the bus had a medical episode before the bus crashed into the train, which was not moving.
The bus driver of the bus appeared to have life-threatening injuries because of the medical episode, Bustilloz said. Two passengers on the bus were transported for what are believed to be minor injuries.
Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the scene.
