Angelo State University’s year-long series “Latino Americans: 500 Years of History” will feature a presentation by history faculty Dr. Kathryn Ostrofsky on the children’s show “Sesame Street”, at 2 p.m. March 5 in the Stephens Central Library Sugg Community Room, 33. W. Beauregard Ave.
Ostrofsky’s presentation “A Latino History of ‘Sesame Street’ con cuentos y canciones,” will cover the history of Latino contributions to “Sesame Street” from its launch 1969 to present.
The family-friendly event will include songs, dancing, reading, videos, games and coloring for younger children and cool animations and hip hop music for older children.
