The owners of Shenanigans, Derrick and Jeanna Hoffman, are opening a new business on Friday, February 2.
KNOSH! will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday through Wednesday. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
This new restaurant will be focused on the food first, with a full service bar second.
Some of the food to be included on the menu will be fresh fish, bbq and American favorites.
The Hoffmans are aiming for a nice, relaxed atmosphere to enjoy good food.
The bar will include custom drinks. The first idea being tossed around is something like a raspberry margarita, which has yet to be named.
The restaurant was given the name KNOSH! after some brain storming and internet searching, where the Hoffmans discovered the name on Urban Dictionary.
The word “knosh” was a popular term in the 90s and refers to both food and the act of eating.
The restaurant will be family friendly with an interactive kid menu for the little ones.
The inside of the building seats around 75 people while the outside area seats around 55.
KNOSH! will occasionally feature local musicians but it won’t be a regular thing.
Both of the Hoffmans have a background in food.
Derrick is originally from Christoval and Jeanna is from San Angelo.
