Johnny Manziel, prosecutors finalize plea deal in assault case

The domestic violence charges against former NFL star Johnny Manziel were dropped Friday.

As reported by CBS DFW, Manziel was issued a conditional dismissal agreement from his case in which he was accused of hitting and threatening ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley in January.

Through the agreement,  Manziel is required to complete an anger management class, attend a domestic violence victim panel and participate in the NFL’s policy and program for substance abuse.

Manziel’s next court date to finalize the requirements will be Jan. 12
