Jimmy John’s opened for business today on Sherwood Way.
Charlie and Sam Nixon, brothers from Nebraska, are part owners, and managers, of the new franchise.
Charlie says that the speed and attention to detail is what makes Jimmy John’s special compared to other shops.
While more training of the 27 employees is underway, Jimmy John’s strives to hand customers their sandwich before they’ve even had a chance to swipe their debit card.
Their most popular sandwich so far is the “Italian Nightclub”. This particular sub includes genoa salami, capicola, ham, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo & vinaigrette.
Jimmy John’s also offers a delivery options to their customers. The fee is small, usually less than a dollar per item and gets cut off at $7, no matter how much you order.
The Nixon family decided to move their business here after a former employee joined the baseball team at ASU as a pitcher and told the Nixons that San Angelo did not have this particular business and sang the praises of the town as a whole.
This establishment is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
