Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was announced Saturday at the NFL Honors ceremony in Houston as an inductee into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
“I was with my family [when I found out],” Jones said. “I have tremendous family involvement in everything that I’ve done in sports… I’ve had my family around me in my love for football.”
As reported by WFAA-TV, Jones was praised during the ceremony as an innovator and for his involvement in increasing values of NFL franchises through his negotiations for bigger television contracts and stadiums.
The Cowboys won three Super Bowls and 10 division titles under Jones.
