No charges have been filed in the death of a four-month-old infant son of a New York police officer who died Monday after he was left inside a vehicle in Rome, New York.
According to multiple sources, Oneida County Sheriff’s Office deputies said the police officer’s son, Michael, was left in his father’s vehicle for an extended period of time in roughly 80 degree weather.
The infant was rushed to Rome Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy was scheduled Tuesday to determine the cause of the child’s death.
