Beginning today, citizens can now submit certain incident reports online, thanks to the San Angelo Police Department.
This service is available through the department’s website, or through the Incident Reporting computer located in the department’s lobby.
Once reports have been submitted, they will still be reviewed and handled accordingly.
The online service makes it easier and more accessible for people to make reports anytime of day, without the presence of an officer or having to go to the police department to report an incident in person.
The online service will also free more officers to be readily available to respond to emergency calls now.
Incidents in progress should still be reported by calling 911.
