Inauguration Day 2017: Donald Trump will take oath of office Friday

It’s Inauguration Day. Donald J. Trump will take his oath of office around noon Eastern time as the 45th president of the United States.

Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. will swear Trump, in followed by the new president’s inaugural address.

Trump will review the country’s armed forces and then he and Vice President Mike Pence will lead the inaugural parade from the Capitol down Pennsylvania Avenue.

Trump could begin signing executive orders as early as this afternoon.
