I-20 Crash Kills Three

On Monday, December 18, a wreck that occurred around 8 p.m. on Highway 20 killed three people.

A 2002 Chevrolet pickup was traveling west on I-20 when the wet roads caused the truck to hydroplane and hit a median.

The vehicle rolled into oncoming lanes and collided with a  2007 Toyota 4Runner.

The accident killed the pickup driver, 39-year old Patrick Randall McDaniel. as well as the driver and one of the two passengers in the 4Runner.

The Toyota driver was 32-year old Jeremy Matthew Gaspar and the passenger was 60-year old Terry Ann Hunt.

The second passenger of the Toyota, 32-year old Lauren Gaspar, was sent to Eastland Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
