Good Friday, March 25, closures

Many businesses, government agencies, schools and organizations will be closed for Good Friday. Here are some of the closures (and a few openings) forĀ  the holiday:

City of San Angelo offices: Closed. Offices reopen Monday, March 28.

Tom Green County offices: Closed. Offices reopen Monday, March 28.

Trash service: Will not be interrupted. Landfill is open.

Fort Concho National Historic Landmark: Visitor Center at Barracks 1 will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WIC (Women, Infants and Children) offices: Closed Friday. Ballinger clinic closed Friday.

Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing: Closed.

Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers: Closed.

McNease Convention Center: Closed.

City of San Angelo/Tom Green County health department: Closed.

Fairmount Cemetery: Business office closed.

Municipal Court: Closed.

San Angelo Nature Center: Closed.

San Angelo Animal Shelter: Closed Friday and Saturday.

Meals For The Elderly: Closed. Seniors have received extra meals in advance of the organization’s scheduled closure.

Four R Broadcasting business office: Open.

San Angelo Independent School District: Closed for Good Friday holiday/bad weather day.

Angelo State University: University offices closed. No classes. Climbing gym closed.

Tom Green County libraries: All locations closed.

United States Postal Services: Open. Mail services not interrupted.

Concho Valley Council of Governments offices: Closed.

Credit unions and banks: Some schedules vary. Check with individual financial institutions for information.
