The National Weather Service of San Angelo is predicting possible freezing drizzle Thursday morning.
According to the NWS, areas of freezing drizzle could develop after 3 a.m. and continue through 10 a.m. Thursday, mainly along and north of Interstate 20. Bridges and overpasses could become slick during the morning commute. Drivers should check weather conditions prior to getting on the roads.
After Friday and Saturday, which will see temperatures in the mid- to upper-70s, a strong arctic cold front will push into the Concho Valley late Saturday, dropping temperatures into the teens and low 20s Saturday night.
Light snow flurries are also possible Saturday night, mainly along and north of Interstate 20. Highs will only climb into the mid-30s Sunday and Monday.
