Four family members were injured in a two vehicle crash Saturday.
According to Officer Alvarez with the San Angelo Police Department, SAPD received a call about a crash at approximately 1:45 p.m. Saturday in the intersection of Loop 306 and Sherwood Way.
After an investigation officers found that the driver of the silver Kia was driving westbound on Sherwood Way when he ran the stop light and hit the black Chevrolet Tahoe that was in the middle of the westbound lanes coming from the exit ramp of the loop.
The driver of the Kia refused to go to the hospital and walked away from the incident with no visible injuries.
The family of four in the Tahoe were all transported to Shannon Medical Center to get checked out for minor, non-life-threatening injuries, Alvarez said.
The driver of the Kia was issued a citation for running the red light.
