After receiving rainfall Monday night, the Concho Valley is expecting a strong cold front to move through the area Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in San Angelo. Chances for more showers are at 90 percent early Tuesday, dropping to a 20 percent chance in the afternoon. Tuesday’s high is only expected to be 49 and windy with north winds from 15 to 20 mph increasing to 25 to 30 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.
The low for Tuesday night is expected to be 35 with a 20 percent chance of showers before 7 p.m. Wind gusts Tuesday night will be northwest 25 to 30 mph decreasing to 15 to 20 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph in the nighttime hours.
