ELECTION: Clinton wins Nevada, still trails Trump

UPDATE: 11:12 p.m. – Hillary Clinton is the projected winner of Nevada. Clinton still trails Donald Trump in the race for the White House.

10:57 p.m. – Donald Trump has taken the projected wins in Iowa and Utah, according to AP updates.

10:33 p.m. – Hillary Clinton is the projected winner in Washington state, with Fox News projecting Donald Trump winning Wisconsin.  The Associated Press says Trump is the victor in Georgia.

10:17 p.m. – Donald Trump has received another electoral vote in Nebraska. Hillary Clinton is the projected winner of Oregon.

10:06 p.m. – The latest projections say Hillary Clinton has won California and Hawaii, while Donald Trump has won Florida, Idaho and North Carolina.

9:55 p.m. – The Associated Press has just reported that Donald Trump is the projected winner of Florida.


9:40 p.m. – Hillary Clinton has won the Commonwealth of Virginia in the latest projections, with Donald Trump winning Ohio.

9:15 p.m. – Donald Trump remains in the lead for U.S. President, leading Hillary Clinton in the polls.

Clinton has won New Mexico and Trump has won Missouri, per the latest projections.


9:04 – Donald Trump has won Montana, according to the latest projections.

The Republican party will retain control of the House of Representatives.

8:35 pm. – Donald Trump has won Louisiana and Hillary Clinton has won Connecticut, according to the latest projections.

8:05 p.m. – Donald Trump has won Texas, South Dakota, North Dakota, Kansas and Wyoming. Hillary Clinton has taken New York.

Trump has won Arkansas, Bill Clinton’s home state.

7:30 p.m. – Donald Trump wins Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee, closing the gap with Hillary Clinton and taking the lead. Trump now has 76 electoral votes with Clinton holding at 68, according to Fox News.

Clinton has now won Rhode Island. CNN still shows Clinton with a slight electoral vote lead.

7:10 p.m. – According to live data feed from polls across the nation, Hillary Clinton has 68 electoral votes to Donald Trump’s 48, according to CNN.

Fox News has Clinton with 68 and Trump with 67 electoral votes.

Results from the key state of Florida are still not in.

Clinton has taken Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey and the District of Columbia. Trump added Oklahoma, South Carolina and Tennessee to his win column.

7 p.m – As the first polls close in the nation, CNN and Fox News have projected that Donald Trump will take Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia. Hillary Clinton is expected to take Vermont.Clinton is leading in North Carolina and Florida, but it’s too early to predict the outcome.

The networks say Florida is too close to call currently, which has 29 electoral votes.

More election results will be posted on sanangelonow.com as they become available. The local results for the race for Tom Green County Sheriff have not yet been posted by the TGC Elections Office.
