Wednesday afternoon, early voting numbers were determined.
According to the City of San Angelo’s Public Information Office, a record 4,666 people voted early for the upcoming Saturday’s police chief and City Council election.
Not all who voted were city voters and an additional 603 people voted in Wall.
Last year’s mayoral race drew a total 5,416 people voted. The police chief race in 2012 resulted in 4,912 people total who voted.
