Early thunderstorms Sunday, warm temperatures still remain

Sunday welcomed early morning thunderstorms, high humidity and hot weather for San Angelo.

According to the National Weather Service, partly sunny skies and a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms are expected after 7 a.m. with a high near 91.

Sunday night, expect a low near 71 with south southeast winds ranging from 5 to 10 mph. Amounts of less than a 10th inch of rainfall, with possible high amounts falling if more thunderstorms produce.

Best chance of thunderstorms will be along and west of the line of Ozona, San Angelo and Abilene.
