A Dyess Air Force Base airman was found dead in his off-base residence at 1 a.m. Jan. 28. Base officials are not releasing the name of the airman until 24 hours after next-of-kin is notified.
A press release from Dyess stated, “Team Dyess extends our deepest condolences and prayers to the family as we grieve the loss of a treasured member of our Air Force family. Dyess airmen will embrace and comfort family and friends as our leaders focus on helping those affected by this tragedy.”
Further details about the death are not being released at this time because of the sensitive nature of the death.
