Beginning Monday, Drought Level I water restrictions are in effect in the City of San Angelo. Outside watering is now restricted to once every seven days at no more than one inch during watering days.
Outside water is prohibited from noon to six p.m. As a reminder, all outside water runoff of more than 150 feet down any street, gutter, alley or ditch is also prohibited.
San Angelo’s current water supply is nearing 24 months of available supply. Weather forecasters are predicting a hot and dry summer with an El Nino weather pattern. City officials are urging residents to conserve water.
