San Angelo NOW has received more details about Midnight’s Rodeo’s reopening in San Angelo early next month.
The popular nightclub, which was suddenly shuttered for undisclosed reasons in May 2016, will be once again open for business at the same location less than a year later.
Marketing director Mark Easterling said clientele can expect to see an improved dance floor and an expanded patio. The club is also changing the age requirement from 18-and-up to 21-and-up, except on live music nights. They will also be adopting a “no concert – no cover” policy.
Easterling said the main reason for the reopening is outcry through social media and the comments he received from San Angeloans regarding the bar’s closing last year.
Midnight Rodeo will reopen its doors Feb. 4, with live music by Texas country favorite Kevin Fowler.
Easterling said they are currently working on hiring staff and finalizing improvements.
