Two people were injured shortly before noon Tuesday in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Southland Boulevard near the Stripes Convenience Store.
Officer Ed Hunger, traffic investigator with the San Angelo Police Department said a black Chevrolet Impala was headed eastbound on Sherwood Way, when a maroon Trailblazer made a left turn towards the convenience store in front of the Impala.
The driver and passenger of the Impala were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Trailblazer was not injured in the collision.
The female driver of the Trailblazer was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way, according to Hunger.
