Courtroom no-show’s bond set at $1.5 million

A 36-year old San Angelo man facing felony drug charges failed to appear in 51st District Court Tuesday causing the court to set a bond of $1.5 million on two counts.

Eric Brandon Willberg was scheduled for a jury trial Tuesday morning on two felony drug counts, but failed to appear before the judge.

Willberg is charged with possession of heroin with intent to deliver, a first degree felony and possession of methadone, a second degree felony.

According to a statement from assistant district attorney Jason Ferguson, Judge Tom Gossett revoked Willberg’s bond, issued a warrant for his arrest and set his new bond at $750,000 in each count.
