City offices closed for MLK holiday

City of San Angelo

In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, most City of San Angelo offices will be closed Jan. 18; however, trash services and landfill operations will not be interrupted.

The visitor’s center, Barracks 1, at Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, 630 S. Oakes St., will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and self-guided tours will be available.

Offices that are closed for MLK Day include: Station 618, Santa Fe Crossing, the Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers, the McNease Convention Center, the San Angelo/Tom Green County Health Dept., San Angelo Animal Shelter, Fairmount Cemetery business offices, Municipal Court, Women, Infants and Children (WIC) offices, and the San Angelo Nature Center.

The City’s water customer service office will also be closed.
