Child Exploitation Unit arrests Lockhart man on child porn charges

The attorney general’s office has charged a Lockhart man with five counts of possession of child pornography.

The Child Exploitation Unit began its investigation of Brian James Gorley, 33, after receiving multiple tip line reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, indicating that Gorley had uploaded child pornography to various social networking websites. After searching the suspect’s home, authorities found multiple images of child pornography on his mobile device.

Gorley is charged with a third degree felony and could face up to ten years in prison if convicted.
