The San Angelo Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of Oxford Drive and Sherwood Way Wednesday because of a motor vehicle collision that sent two people to the hospital.
According to SAPD Officer Ed Hunger, a black Cadillac was traveling westbound and a Chrysler minivan was traveling eastbound on Sherwood Way. The Cadillac made a left-hand turn in front of the minivan, causing the collision. After the collision, the minivan went off the road and hit a residential fence on Oxford Drive.
Both vehicles had two occupants, none of the occupants in the black Cadillac were injured. The occupants of the minivan were both transported by ambulance to the hospital. Their injuries are unknown.
A citation will be issued to the driver of the Cadillac for failure to yield the right-of-way.
