Bunny run despite cold weather

Cold winds, dark clouds and 41 degrees weather did not prevent runners from completing the bunny run Saturday morning.

At 8:30 a.m. Saturday, more than 70 people showed up to run the Bunny Run at Kids Kingdom 400 West Park Drive.

According to Dorothy Noriegia at Habitat for Humanity, this is the second annual TimeClock Bunny Run family fun they are hosting, and they have had a great turnout.

She is very pleased about how many people showed up, especially for it to be so cold outside.

“As soon as the racers come in we will have some family fun, with arts and craft, snacks and many different games for them to play. We are hoping to keep the families busy until noon” Noriegia said.
