Author Harper Lee dies at age 89

Multiple news sources are reporting that author Harper Lee has died at the age of 89 in her hometown of Monroeville, Alabama. Lee is primarily known for her Pulitzer Prize winning book, “To Kill a Mockingbird.” The sequel to the book, “Go Set a Watchman” was released in 2015.

Sources have not yet confirmed when the author died, but are citing the Monroeville mayor and city clerk’s office as confirming the death.
