Association of Asian American Women to host lumpia cooking class

The Association of Asian American Women is hosting a Filipino lumpia cooking class Saturday at its Asian Cultural Center, 528 Orient St. 

Lumpia are Filipino eggrolls that are in a thin wrapper and filled with various items. Saturday’s beginner class will demonstrate four different types of lumpia – lumpia shanghai, lumpia sariwa, vege lumpia and banana turon.

Class will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The class is limited to the first 10 paid participants. Cost is $25 per person.
