Arrest of Parolee Leads to Discovery of Meth & Firearm

On Tuesday, October 3, the Tom Green Sheriff’s Department received information on the whereabouts of Gilbert Hernandez, who was wanted for a parole violation.

Hernandez was discovered to be in possession of methamphetamine and a firearm.

It is illegal for someone convicted of a felony to be in possession of such items, especially a firearm.

Hernandez was booked into the Tom Green County Jail for Parole Violation and many City warrants.
