Abilene Man Indicted for 8 “Dine & Ditch” Incidents

Hamza Labidi, 29, previously arrested on 8 occasions of “dining and ditching”, has been indicted for one count of Robbery.

In May 2017, Labidi pushed a server out of the way in an attempt to flee the scene after refusing to pay for service at a restaurant on S. 14th Street.

He was arrested later that afternoon.

Labidi’s records show that he has been charged with 7 incidents of “Theft of Service” in Taylor County since March.

These incidents include Labidi refusing to pay at restaurants, cafes, cab companies and other Abilene establishments.

He is currently being held at Taylor County Jail for a $20,000 bond.
