$3,000 reward offered for most wanted sex offender from El Paso

A $3,000 reward has been offered by the Texas Department of Public Safety for information leading to the capture of 61-year old Manuel Raul Maese, one of the state’s 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders.

DPS says Maese is a high-risk sex offender who is wanted on charges of indecent exposure and failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

Maese has ties in El Paso, along with an extensive criminal history in El Paso County. Some of his convictions include indecency with a child, six convictions for indecent exposure, aggravated assault, assault causes bodily injury and possession of a controlled substance. He has also been arrested in Washington state for assault and in Arizona for public sexual indecency.

He is described as being 5 feet nine inches tall and weighs 210 pounds with pockmarks on his face.

Maese has been known to work as a commercial truck driver.
