1,385 years of service to San Angelo to be honored at awards ceremony

A total of 1,385 years of service by 96 City of San Angelo employees will be recognized during an awards ceremony April 8 at the Fort Concho National Historic Landmark Stables.


City employees who will be honored at the annual Service Awards Presentation will receive service awards to be presented to those celebrating five- 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, 30-, 35- and 40-year milestone anniversaries.

Thirty-four employees have five years of service, 17 have 10 years of service, five employees have 15 years of service, 15 have 20 years of service, 20 employees have 25 years of service, two employees have 30 years of service, two employees have 35 years of service and one has 40 years of service.

The event is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Fort Concho Stables, 630 S. Oakes St., and is open to friends and family of the honorees.

“We congratulate our employees on their achievement,” Human Resources Director Lisa Marley said in a COSA press release. “Their hard work and loyalty to the City of San Angelo – and their service to our community and its citizens – is greatly appreciated.”
